Today we are trying something new – a very short video blog.

In this one-minute segment I discuss my belief that WE ARE ALL INVESTORS. We invest our time, our energy, and our resources all day, every day. So thinking about why we invest is important for everyone – and yet many questions I receive have to do exclusively with the “what” of investing. What fund, what stock, what advisor, what strategy…. when the more essential (and more interesting) question is, WHY. Why are we investing in the first place, whether it is our money or our time? What do we hope to see as results, and why do those results matter to us? How does all of that relate to our own broader hopes and dreams and plans?
Once the WHY is clear, the WHAT is a piece of cake.
